At Oral Surgeons of Oklahoma, we believe quality surgical care should be accessible and affordable. We work with a wide range of dental insurance providers and are committed to helping patients maximize their benefits while making the financial process as simple as possible.

Insurance Providers

Our team is in-network with many major dental insurance plans, including Ameritas, Cigna, Delta Dental, Principal, United Concordia, UnitedHealthcare, SoonerCare, and more. If you do not see your plan listed, please contact our office. Our knowledgeable staff will be happy to verify your benefits and discuss payment options before your visit.

Tribal Health Networks & Referrals

If you receive your primary healthcare through a tribal health system, your dental treatment may be fully or partially covered by your nation’s health care programs.

Please note: To use tribal funds at an outside private practice like ours, you must obtain an approved referral or voucher before your appointment.

We Welcome Patients Utilizing Benefits From:

The Choctaw Nation Health Services Authority (CNHSA): We accept authorized outside referrals managed through CNHSA dental clinics (such as Durant, Hugo, McAlester, or Poteau).

The Chickasaw Nation Department of Health: We work with patients utilizing the Chickasaw Nation’s dental programs, including the Chickasaw Medical Assistance programs and authorized referrals from Chickasaw dental clinics.

The Absentee Shawnee Tribal Health System (ASTHS): We accept pre-authorized referrals and Purchased/Referred Care (PRC) coverage issued by the ASTHS clinics (Shawnee and Little Axe locations).

How to Use Your Tribal Dental Benefits Here:

Contact Your Tribal Clinic: Call your nation’s dental clinic or Purchased/Referred Care (PRC) department to request an external referral to our office.

Receive Authorization: Ensure the tribe issues a referral authorization or voucher for the specific treatment needed.

Bring Your Documents: On the day of your visit, please bring your referral paperwork and a photo ID.
